Driven by a vision to modernize academic infrastructure, enhance international competitiveness, and align higher education with global and local labor market needs, EBB has launched and implemented several qualitative initiatives in the field of higher education development, including:
EBB has played a strategic role at the national level, contributing to the development of the legislative and regulatory framework for international branch campuses, most notably Law 162. In 2018, EBB launched the first TNE program in Egypt 2012 and facilitated the establishment of the first foreign university branch in Egypt 2019 setting a historic milestone for the sector. Through its vision, execution capability, and policy engagement, EBB has positioned itself as the gateway for global education providers entering Egypt and as a key architect of the country’s Transnational Education ecosystem.
2015
Proposed the first Interdisciplinary and Clinical Master’s in Dentistry with Ain Shams University (2015), including Master’s in Aesthetic Dentistry and Master’s in Implantology. These are intensive programs with a professional character, without requiring a traditional research thesis.
2016
Developed a comprehensive framework for establishing foreign university branches in Egypt based on international models like China and Malaysia (2016), enhancing internationalization and linking local education with global academic standards.

Supported cooperation between Zagazig University and the University of Dundee to establish a Faculty of Dentistry (2017).

Supported cooperation between Cairo University and the University of Dundee to establish the first center for early detection of oral cancer.
